The Minds' Home

If I'm fast sleeping at this time.
Don't wake me from such slumber.
Let me be awake somewhere.
Where beauty cannot be marred.

See me lost in the unknown.
Simply let me be there.
Let me dance freely.
A waft upon the wind.

Watch as I slip away.
Loosely guarded about.
Taken with the gust.
As it breezes swiftly by.

No words can break such.
Trance as I'm bound by.
The gentle wafts.
Of serenity surrounding me.

No touch can wake.
This body that soundly slumbers.
For the mind is lost.
In a dream of my own.

It draws me in as if.
Some tide draws up to only.
Sink back upon the sand.
Loosening the pebbles around.

The wave of peace.
Settles upon my feet.
I feel as it flows over.
Content as it spreads through.

What is this world I've found?
It's mine; mine alone.
It's a part of me, somewhere deep.
Unnoticed by those who know.

They know but a fragment.
Small portion of the mind.
A mind that wants to stay still.
Still in this other world.

Find peace of mind.
Find serenity in this dream.
I'm content to stay here.
Lost forever in my minds' home.
